Shelly Motion Sensor: A Smooth Integration Experience

I’ve recently had the pleasure of setting up a Shelly Motion sensor in my home, and I must say, it’s been a fantastic experience so far. The installation process was straightforward, and the app interface is user-friendly, making it easy to configure the sensor to my liking.

One feature I particularly appreciate is the ability to customize IO actions. I’ve set it up to trigger specific lights when motion is detected, which has significantly improved the convenience of my daily routine. However, there’s one minor hiccup I encountered that I’d like to share in case others are facing the same issue.

While trying to remove a device from the motion sensor’s trigger list, I noticed that the changes wouldn’t save properly. Despite receiving a confirmation message stating that the changes were saved, the deleted device still appeared in the list and continued to trigger as before. This was a bit puzzling, and I had to go through the process multiple times before it finally stuck. I’m curious if others have experienced this and if there’s a more reliable workaround.

Overall, the Shelly Motion sensor has been a great addition to my smart home setup. Its reliability and versatility make it a worthwhile investment, and I’m excited to explore more advanced configurations in the future. If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing its performance, I’d love to hear them!
