I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation for quite some time now, and I must say, it’s been an incredible journey!

Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is using different weather dashboards for each property. I stumbled upon a really cool setup using maps.darksky.net. By tweaking the URL, I can display the weather for each location in fullscreen mode on my Chromecast. It’s not only visually appealing but also super practical for quick weather checks. When it comes to managing multiple properties, one of the biggest challenges is ensuring seamless control across all devices. I’ve found that using separate routines and automation rules for each home really helps. It might be a bit time-consuming to set up initially, but it pays off in the long run by reducing confusion and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
