I’m curious if anyone has found a reliable method to set up recurring or one-time schedules without manually adjusting each time. The idea of a universal solution that works across all devices is incredibly appealing.Another area I’m passionate about is outdoor security. I recently installed contact sensors on my fence gates to monitor their status, especially since my landscapers sometimes forget to lock them. Finding weatherproof sensors has been a bit of a challenge, but I’m hopeful there’s a robust solution out there. If anyone has recommendations or tips on ensuring reliable performance in outdoor conditions, I’d love to hear them.In terms of garage automation, I’ve been using myQ to manage my garage door, and it’s been working perfectly. However, I’m interested in enhancing this setup further. I came across a smart app that’s supposed to automatically close the garage after a set period and notify me if it’s left open too long. While I’ve managed to set up some rules using SmartRules, I’m still exploring how to make this system even more foolproof and responsive.As I continue to tweak and expand my smart home ecosystem, I’m constantly amazed by the potential of these technologies.
