Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent success in integrating my Google Assistant with my security cameras. It’s been a journey, but I’m thrilled with the results. 
I’ve been using Google Assistant for a while now, but I recently decided to take my home security to the next level. I installed a few new security cameras around my property and wanted to ensure they worked seamlessly with my existing Google setup. The goal was to receive notifications whenever the cameras detected motion, especially at night when I’m not home.
At first, I faced a few challenges. The cameras were detecting motion, but the notifications weren’t coming through consistently. I did some research and found that the issue was with how the devices were communicating. I realized I needed to set up a proper integration between my cameras and Google Assistant.
After some trial and error, I figured out that using Google’s built-in automation features was the key. I created a routine where the cameras send a signal to Google Assistant, which then triggers a notification on my phone. It took a bit of tweaking, but now it works like a charm! 
One thing I learned is the importance of checking device compatibility and ensuring all firmware is up to date. It also helped to review the logs in the Google Home app to identify any connectivity issues.
I’m now enjoying peace of mind knowing that my home is secure and I’m instantly alerted to any activity.
