For those looking to integrate multiple devices, I’ve found that using consistent protocols like Zigbee or Z-Wave makes a huge difference. Also, don’t underestimate the power of routines in SmartThings—they’ve saved me countless times by automating repetitive tasks. 
Overcoming Challenges
One hiccup I encountered was with a Shelly device where the firmware update wouldn’t go through. After some research, I discovered that manually selecting the correct firmware version on the manufacturer’s website did the trick. Always good to double-check those settings!
