I just wanted to share my recent experience setting up my smart home and some updates on my devices. First off, the battery life update on my cereal bowl has been a game-changer! I was skeptical at first, but after testing it, I consistently get around 25 hours of use, which is amazing. It’s definitely a great option when you want to save battery, but I still prefer using Wi-Fi for real-time updates. What do you guys think about the design of the lamp? I’m really into the color I chose—it adds such a nice touch to my kitchen.
On another note, I’ve been exploring integrating more devices into my setup. I recently got the Fibaro swipe display and motion sensors, and they’ve been working seamlessly with my Homey Pro hub. It’s so cool to have everything connected and automated. I was a bit worried about compatibility at first, but it’s been smooth sailing so far.
One thing I’ve been curious about is the sound format from my Sonos Arc. I see it mentioned in the app, but I’d love to know if there’s a way to display it in my home automation system. Also, I’ve been thinking about adding a keypad for my Wyze locks. It would be awesome if they had a lockout feature and vacation mode—I’d definitely use that!
Overall, my smart home setup has been a huge upgrade, and I’m excited to see what new features and devices come out next. If anyone has tips or suggestions, I’d love to hear them!
