I hope you’re all having a fantastic day. I wanted to share some of my recent experiences with my smart home setup and ask for a bit of help from the community. 
First off, I’ve been trying to get my Schlage door lock integrated into my smart home system. I followed the guide for my thermostat, which worked like a charm, but the door lock is giving me a bit of trouble. I’m using variables like %avlocked(), %avstate(), and %avstatus(), but they’re only returning 1 or 0. I’m not sure how to interpret these as ‘open’ or ‘closed’. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! 
On a lighter note, I’m super excited about my philodendron gigantium ‘blizzard’! A new leaf is starting to emerge, and it’s absolutely beautiful. 
It’s amazing how these plants grow and bring life into my home. I can’t wait to see how this leaf turns out!
Another thing I’ve been thinking about is the Generic Hygrostat integration in Home Assistant. It’s pretty awesome, but I noticed that it lacks a unique ID, which makes it hard to assign it to an area. Adding a unique ID would solve this issue, and I’m hoping someone might be able to help with that. 
Lastly, I came across a post about the Xiaomi Smartmi Air Humidifier 2. It seems like there’s support for some models, but not the one available in South Korea. I’m curious if anyone has any insights or workarounds for this. I’d love to see better integration for all models!
