I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting and automation with Home Assistant, and it’s been an incredible journey! 
I recently set up the Plejd smart lighting system, and integrating it with Home Assistant has transformed my home into a fully automated smart space. The ability to control lights through voice commands or even my phone has been a game-changer for me. 
One feature I particularly love is the geofencing setup. It automatically turns on my living room lights when I get home, which is especially handy when it’s dark outside. However, I did run into a small issue initially where the lights would activate even when I was just pulling into the driveway. After some research, I found that adjusting the geofencing radius in the Vera app fixed the problem. Now, it works like a charm! 
Another thing I’ve been exploring is the use of template sensors to customize my dashboard. I created a simple template sensor to monitor the status of my smart lights, which gives me a quick overview of which lights are on or off. It’s such a neat way to keep everything organized and accessible. 
I also wanted to share a tip for anyone looking to set up smart lighting. Start with one room and gradually expand. This approach not only keeps things manageable but also allows you to learn and tweak settings as you go. Trust me, the satisfaction of seeing your home come to life with smart features is worth every bit of effort!
