Hey everyone! I’m really enjoying diving into the world of smart home automation. Recently, I decided to set up a mode in my kitchen called ‘cooking’ to make my time in the kitchen more enjoyable. I have a few smart devices there, including two kitchen dimmers, a family room dimmer, and two Sonos speakers.
I wanted the mode to turn on the lights and play some music automatically. Everything worked out perfectly except for one little hiccup with the Sonos. When I set the dimmers to 80%, the Sonos also cranked up the volume to 80%, which was a bit of a shock! I ended up having to adjust the settings manually to get the volume just right.
It’s amazing how much smarter and more convenient my kitchen feels with these devices. I’m definitely looking forward to exploring more automation features in the future! If anyone has any tips or tricks for setting up modes, I’d love to hear them.
