Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart lighting automation, and I just wanted to share my recent project with you all. 
I’ve always been a fan of themed rooms, and recently, I decided to turn my medieval fantasy room into a fully automated smart space. The goal was to have everything from LED candles to Gundams light up automatically when I enter the room. Let me walk you through how I approached this and what I’ve learned along the way.
First off, I started by gathering all the necessary devices. I have a bunch of LED devices, each with their own remotes, which got me thinking—there must be a way to control them all with a single device. After some research, I stumbled upon the idea of using an IoT IR device. It seemed like the perfect solution to act as a universal remote, controlling all my LED devices on demand. 
I’ve been experimenting with different IR devices and have found that integrating them with my smart home ecosystem has been both exciting and a bit challenging. One thing I’ve learned is the importance of proper setup and configuration. For instance, setting up automations that trigger the lights to turn on when I enter the room has required some tweaking to ensure everything works seamlessly. 
I’d love to hear from others who have undertaken similar projects or have tips on optimizing IR device performance. Have you found any particular devices or configurations that work exceptionally well? I’m also curious about how others handle the integration of multiple devices from different brands—any tricks or tools you’d recommend? 
On a lighter note, I can’t help but smile every time I walk into my themed room and see all the lights come to life automatically. It’s a small luxury that adds so much magic to my space.
