So, I’ve been using the app to automate my lights for a while now. During the school year, I had them set to turn on at 5:20 AM, which worked perfectly. But when summer came, I wanted to adjust the time to 6:30 AM. I went into the settings and updated the scheduled time, and everything looked good on the surface.
However, when I checked the history, I noticed something odd. The scheduled time showed as 6:30 AM, but the actual events were still happening at 5:20 AM. It was like the app wasn’t recognizing the new time I set. I tried deleting the automation and starting over, but that didn’t solve the issue. I really want to keep the flexibility of updating my schedule without having to recreate the whole thing every time.
I’m wondering if this is a common problem or if there’s a setting I might have missed. Maybe there’s a way to force the app to refresh or recognize the new time? I’m also curious if others have experienced similar issues and how they resolved them.
On a positive note, I’ve learned a lot about troubleshooting and adjusting settings in the meantime. It’s been a good opportunity to explore the app’s features more deeply. I’m hopeful that with some guidance, I can get my lights working exactly as I want them to.
