Hi everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience setting up smart lighting in my home. I’ve been using Govee lights for a while now, and I must say, they’ve completely transformed my space. I’ve created a cozy winter vibe using blue tones mixed with warm white lights, and it’s been such a comforting addition to my home during these colder months.
I’ve also been experimenting with waterproofing my outdoor lights. I installed some outdoor light strips, but the plugs and power brick weren’t waterproof. After some research, I found a solution by using weatherproof connectors and covering the power brick with a silicone cover. It’s been working great so far!
Another thing I’ve been exploring is using my Harman Kardon Invoke speaker as a chime for when the front door opens. It’s a fun way to add a personal touch to my home security system. I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried something similar or has tips for customizing notifications!
