My goal was to have my lights gradually brighten in the morning to help me wake up more naturally. I’ve set up Philips Hue bulbs in my bedroom and living area, paired with a smart plug for my desk lamp. The Hue bulbs are connected to my Google Nest Hub, which allows me to control everything through routines.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Set up a routine that turns on the Hue bulbs at 7:00 AM with a warm white setting and gradually increases brightness over 30 minutes.
- Added a smart plug to my desk lamp to ensure it turns on at the same time, providing additional light when I’m fully awake.
The setup works well, but I’m curious if others have implemented more creative solutions. For example, does anyone use color transitions or integrate other devices like smart blinds? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you have for improving this setup! ![]()
