I’ve been experimenting with automating my Nest smart thermostat using SmartThings motion sensors, and I wanted to share my experience and ask for some advice. I have two motion sensors in my kids’ bedrooms, which also track temperature. My goal is to have the thermostat automatically call for heat when the temperature drops below 67°F in either bedroom, setting it to 69°F in heat mode. However, despite setting up the automation, it doesn’t seem to trigger as expected. I’ve double-checked the settings, and everything appears correct, but the thermostat doesn’t respond. Has anyone successfully implemented a similar setup? Any tips or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!
