Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation lately, and I wanted to share my experience with integrating a smart thermostat and setting up an energy dashboard in Home Assistant. 
I recently installed a KNX interface to measure my gas and electric consumption. While the gas readings have been spot on, the electric measurements were way off. After some research and tweaking, I figured out that changing the configuration from active_energy_kwh to dtp-14 fixed the issue! Now, the electric readings are accurate, and I can monitor my energy usage in real time. 
For those interested in setting up a similar system, here’s a quick tip: ensure your KNX addresses are correctly configured and double-check the units of measurement in your settings. It’s also worth exploring different data types like dtp-14 if you encounter discrepancies.
