Hey everyone, I’m trying to set up a smart morning routine for my kids using SmartThings, and I need some help! I don’t have a Harmony Hub, so I’m wondering if I can create a scene in SmartThings that automatically plays a Netflix show on our Samsung TV. Specifically, I want to trigger this after 8 AM when my kids wake up, detected by a door sensor.
I have a few questions: Can I select a particular Netflix user profile within SmartThings? And is it possible to choose a random show from a specific Netflix list? I’m aiming for something seamless—like magic—that just happens without me needing to press any buttons.
I’ve heard that IFTTT or other automation tools might be useful here, but I’m not entirely sure how to connect everything. Has anyone successfully integrated Netflix with SmartThings for something similar? Any tips or workarounds would be amazing! I’m really excited to see how this can make mornings smoother for my family.
