SmartThings Multipurpose Sensor Accuracy and Calibration Tips

Hello SmartThings Community,

I’ve recently purchased the SmartThings Multipurpose Sensor and have been experimenting with its temperature readings. I’ve noticed that the current temperature display rounds to the nearest whole degree, such as 21.0°C or 22.0°C, whereas the history graph shows more precise readings like 22.1°C or 22.3°C. This made me wonder if the sensor is capable of more precise measurements or if there’s a way to display decimal points in real-time.

I also own an Aeotec Multisensor 6, which provides decimal readings, and I’d love for the SmartThings sensor to match that level of detail. I’ve considered recalibration but am unsure how to proceed. Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?

Additionally, I’d appreciate any tips on optimizing sensor placement or ensuring accurate readings. I’m eager to make the most of this device and would be grateful for any insights or recommendations the community might have.

Thank you in advance for your help and for being such a supportive community!

Best regards,
