Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my recent experience with my Sonos speakers, hoping it might help others facing similar issues. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed that my Sonos system has been disconnecting frequently, and each time I reset it, it struggles to find specific speakers. Strangely, the one speaker it always finds is the one furthest away from the hub, which has left me puzzled.
Yesterday, after being without the speakers for a few months, I decided to give it another try. I reset the system once again, and to my frustration, it only found the farthest speaker. I decided to move the hub closer to the speakers, and voilà, it found all of them! But within just one day, none of them worked again. I did some research and learned that reserving IP addresses might help, so I set that up for all my speakers. Unfortunately, the issue persisted, with the system only discovering the farthest speaker once more.
I also tried a factory reset on a few of the speakers, but that didn’t solve the problem either. All my speakers are within 30 feet of the hub, but they’re all behind walls, which might be contributing to the issue. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this and if there are any additional steps I can take to resolve it.
If anyone has any advice or tips, I’d really appreciate it! Let’s see if we can crack this together.
Best regards,
