Hey everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me figure out this frustrating issue. I have multiple Alexa devices in one small room—an Echo Show 5, an Echo Pop, and the Alexa app on two iPhones. Plus, there’s an Echo Dot just outside the room. I thought having more devices would mean better coverage and fewer issues with voice commands, but it’s turned into a nightmare.
The problem started when I noticed that the Echo Show 5 rarely responds unless I’m standing right next to it and practically shouting. I figured adding more devices would solve the problem, but instead, they’re all causing more confusion. Despite being on the same Wi-Fi network and following countless troubleshooting steps, they just won’t work together properly.
I’ve tried everything from resetting the devices to checking for firmware updates, but nothing seems to help. It’s like they’re competing with each other instead of working as a team. I’m really hoping someone out there has dealt with this and can offer some advice. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a trick to get them all to play nice together.
Here’s what I have set up:
- Echo Show 5 (main device)
- Echo Pop (secondary)
- Alexa app on two iPhones
- Echo Dot in the adjacent room
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
