Hey everyone, I’m really excited about diving into the world of smart home devices, and I’ve been trying to set up a few motion sensors around my house. I came across the Sonoff SNZB-03 Motion Sensor, which seemed like a great choice given its reviews and price point. However, I’m running into some trouble getting them to pair with my system, and I could really use some advice or tips from the community.
So far, I’ve tried the standard pairing process multiple times. I press and hold the reset button until the LED flashes three times, which I believe is the signal that it’s ready to pair. I’ve done this several times, even replacing the battery and moving the sensor closer to my hub, but nothing seems to work. It’s frustrating because I have seven of these sensors, and only one has successfully paired so far. I really want to make this work instead of switching to a different brand, especially since I’ve already invested in them.
I’ve also tried resetting my hub and ensuring that all firmware is up to date. I’ve even taken the sensor apart and cleaned the contacts, just to make sure there wasn’t any interference. Despite all these attempts, I’m still stuck. I’m starting to wonder if there’s a specific configuration or setting I’m missing that could help the sensors pair correctly.
I’m curious if anyone else has had similar issues with the Sonoff SNZB-03 sensors and how they resolved them. Maybe there’s a trick or a workaround that I haven’t considered yet. Alternatively, if anyone has successfully paired these sensors with their system, I’d love to hear about their setup and any tips they might have.
In the meantime, I’m hoping to figure this out so I can fully integrate these motion sensors into my smart home setup. They promise to be a great addition, especially for enhancing security and convenience around my home. I really appreciate any insights or suggestions the community can offer!
