Successful Integration of Multiple Smart Devices and Seeking Assistance for Minor Issues

Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you all well! I wanted to share my recent journey with integrating various smart devices into my home ecosystem. It’s been an exciting adventure, and I’ve managed to connect several devices seamlessly, including Zigbee bulbs, Shelly plugs, and even some Aqara sensors. However, as with any tech project, there are always a few hiccups along the way.

First, I’d like to highlight my successes. I’ve successfully paired my Aqara bulbs with the Zigbee2MQTT gateway, and they’re functioning beautifully. The integration process was smooth, and I’m thrilled with how responsive they are. Additionally, I’ve managed to set up a reliable automation using the Roborock S7 vacuum cleaner, which cleans my floors on a scheduled basis. It’s been a lifesaver!

Now, onto the challenges. I’ve noticed some recurring errors in my Home Assistant logs, particularly related to the Roborock S7 and the Xiaomi Miio integration. The errors mention network protocol issues and timeouts, which I suspect might be due to my router’s configuration. I’ve tried resetting the devices and ensuring they’re on the same network, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this, and if so, how did you resolve it?

Another issue I’m facing is with my Andys Fan S2. It seems to disconnect frequently, and I’m not entirely sure why. I’ve checked the firmware and ensured it’s up to date, but the problem remains. I’d greatly appreciate any insights or troubleshooting steps others might suggest.

On a more positive note, I’ve also been exploring the possibility of adding more devices to my setup. I’m particularly interested in integrating a Govee smart smoke detector, as it would add an extra layer of safety to my home. I’ve heard great things about Govee’s products, and I’m eager to see how this one performs.

I’d also like to take a moment to thank the community for the wealth of resources and support available. It’s amazing how helpful and welcoming everyone is, even to newcomers like myself. I’m looking forward to contributing more as I gain more experience.

In closing, I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with these specific devices or similar issues. Your advice and recommendations would be invaluable as I continue to refine my smart home setup.

Thank you all for your time and assistance!

Best regards,
