Hello everyone, I wanted to share my recent success in integrating the Schneider Electric Wiser Exxact Battery-powered Wireless Switch with my Home Assistant setup. After some research and experimentation, I managed to set it up using ZHA events, which allows me to trigger various actions through the switch’s buttons.
The process involved configuring the switch as a remote control, which supports single-press and long-press actions for each of the four buttons. This flexibility is fantastic for creating custom automations, such as turning lights on/off or adjusting their brightness with a simple press or hold. The only minor hiccup was ensuring the correct device ID and endpoint settings, but the Home Assistant community documentation and forums were incredibly helpful in navigating this.
I’m curious to hear if others have similar setups or if they’ve encountered any challenges while integrating wireless switches. Any tips or experiences you’d like to share would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
