Successful LED Conversion and Multi-Camera Setup Tips

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent project converting my kitchen fluorescent lights to LED strips. It was a bit of a challenge, but the end result is amazing! I used 16.5ft LED strips with built-in power supplies, which made installation much easier. I was worried about controlling them both via my wall switch and smart devices, but using a simple micro switch solved the issue without any hiccups. The brightness is fantastic, and it’s so much more energy-efficient than the old fluorescents. If anyone is considering a similar project, I highly recommend checking out the LED kits I used—they were a game-changer!

On another note, I’ve been experimenting with viewing multiple camera feeds simultaneously on my Fire TV. I know Echo Shows are popular for this, but I wanted something without ads and with a bigger screen. After some research, I found that using a third-party app like Kast allows me to display up to four camera streams at once. It’s perfect for keeping an eye on different areas of my home while still enjoying the larger screen size. If anyone else is looking for a solution like this, I’d suggest exploring Kast or similar apps—it’s been a lifesaver for me!

I’d love to hear about your recent projects or any tips you’ve picked up along the way. Let’s keep the ideas flowing! :star2:
