Successfully Connecting a Brother Laser Printer with Alexa

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with connecting my Brother laser printer to my Alexa-enabled devices. Initially, I was a bit frustrated because my Echo Show couldn’t find the printer even though both were on the same Wi-Fi network. I really wanted to print my shopping lists hands-free, so I decided to dive into solving this issue.

First, I checked the printer’s settings to ensure it was discoverable and properly configured for network printing. I also made sure the Alexa app was up to date on my phone. After some research, I found that sometimes devices can be tricky to connect due to network configurations or firewall settings. I decided to reset both the printer and the Echo Show to their factory settings and then try the connection process again.

This time, it worked! The printer was detected without any issues. I realized that sometimes a simple reset can resolve connectivity problems. Now, I can easily print from Alexa, which is super convenient. I thought I’d share this in case anyone else is having similar trouble. If you’re stuck, don’t hesitate to try resetting your devices—it might just be the solution you need!

Happy printing!
