Successfully Extending Zigbee Network with Innr Bulbs

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent success with extending my Zigbee network using Innr bulbs as repeaters. I’ve been trying to get a temperature sensor in my greenhouse to connect to my hub, which is about 60 feet away. The distance was causing issues, and I couldn’t get a stable connection.

After doing some research, I came across the idea of using a Zigbee-compatible bulb as a repeater. I decided to go with the Innr bulbs since they’re known for their repeater capabilities. I placed one bulb halfway between the hub and the sensor, and it made a huge difference!

The setup was pretty straightforward. I paired the bulb with my hub, removed the sensor, and added it back. The bulb acted as a repeater, and now the sensor is consistently detecting temperature changes. It’s amazing how a simple solution like this can solve a connectivity issue.

I’m really happy with how this turned out. Not only did it help with the sensor, but it also added a nice touch to my porch lighting. If anyone else is struggling with Zigbee range issues, I highly recommend trying this out. It’s a cost-effective and efficient way to extend your network coverage.

Would love to hear if others have had similar experiences or if there are other repeater solutions that work well. Keep innovating and happy smart home building!
