I wanted to share my experience with the Tizen Studio emulator issue I encountered recently. After spending quite some time troubleshooting, I finally managed to resolve it, and I thought it would be helpful to document the process for anyone else facing similar challenges.
Initially, I tried running the emulator on both Windows 10 and macOS Catalina (on a Hackintosh), but it wouldn’t boot on either platform. I attached some screenshots to illustrate what was happening. Here are my specs for reference:
- CPU: Core i7-7700HQ
- GPU: GTX 1050Ti + Intel UHD 630
- RAM: 16 GB
After some research and trial and error, I discovered that enabling CPU VT in the system settings was the key to resolving the issue. I updated my BIOS settings accordingly, and voilà—the emulator started working perfectly!
I thought it would be useful to share the steps I took, as well as the screenshots that helped me pinpoint the solution. Hopefully, this can save someone else the frustration of dealing with this issue.
If anyone else has encountered similar problems or has additional insights, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Let’s keep the discussion going and help each other out!
Cheers,
