Successfully Fixed Wyze Pan v3 Connectivity Issue

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze Pan v3 camera connectivity issue I was having. I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and they’ve been a great addition to my home security setup. However, recently I noticed that my Pan v3 camera was losing its Wi-Fi connection frequently, forcing me to reset it each time. It was quite frustrating, especially since I rely on it for monitoring my backyard.\I tried several troubleshooting steps, like resetting the camera, moving it closer to the router, and even trying a different Wi-Fi band. Nothing seemed to work consistently. The problem kept recurring, which was really inconvenient.\After some research online, I came across a suggestion that the power supply might be the issue. I was using a 30-foot USB extension cable, which I thought was fine, but it turns out the voltage drop over such a long cable was causing instability. I decided to try a shorter cable and a new power brick specifically designed for Wyze cameras.\To my relief, the problem was solved! The camera now maintains a stable Wi-Fi connection without any issues. It’s been working perfectly for a few weeks now. I’m really glad I didn’t give up and kept trying different solutions.\If anyone else is experiencing similar problems with their Wyze Pan v3, I highly recommend checking your power supply and cable length. Sometimes, the simplest fixes can make the biggest difference.\It’s also worth mentioning how helpful the Wyze community is. Seeing others share their experiences and solutions really helps when you’re stuck. I’m now more confident in troubleshooting other smart home devices in the future.\Thanks for reading, and I hope this helps someone else out there!
