Successfully Integrating Aqara Door Sensors with Samsung Health

I’ve recently embarked on a journey to enhance my smart home setup, and I’m thrilled to share my experience with integrating Aqara door sensors and Samsung Health. My goal was to create a seamless system that alerts me if my cold storage room door remains open beyond a set time, while also syncing health data seamlessly.

Initially, I faced a challenge with the Aqara sensors. I wanted the alarm to trigger only after 30 seconds of the door being open, not immediately upon opening. After some research and tweaking, I discovered the right settings in the Aqara app to achieve this. It’s such a relief to have this functionality working smoothly, especially for maintaining the right temperature in my storage area.

On the health front, I’ve been exploring how to display real-time data from Samsung Health on my smartwatch. While I encountered some issues with complications not showing actual data, I found a workaround by adjusting the data sources within the Samsung Health app. Now, I can see my heart rate and other metrics clearly, which is a huge plus for my fitness tracking routine.

This project has been a fantastic learning experience, and I’m excited to continue exploring more ways to integrate different devices and services. If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing these integrations, I’d love to hear them! Happy smart home tweaking everyone! :rocket:
