Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience setting up cameras and automations in my smart home. It’s been a journey, but I’m thrilled with the results so far. 
I recently upgraded my security setup by adding a few new cameras. I was really excited to use the camera group feature in the SmartThings app, which allows me to view live feeds from up to four cameras at once. It worked perfectly for my Ring Spotlight Cams, but I encountered an issue when trying to add my Ring Doorbell Pro. The preview just wouldn’t show up in the camera group view. At first, I was a bit frustrated, but I decided to dig deeper.
After some research and troubleshooting, I realized that the issue might be related to how the Ring Doorbell Pro communicates with the SmartThings hub. I reached out to the community and found that others had similar experiences. Thankfully, I stumbled upon a solution: updating the firmware on my Ring devices and ensuring the SmartThings app was up to date. After doing that, the camera group started working seamlessly!

Now, I have a robust security system that I can monitor from anywhere, and it’s incredibly satisfying to see everything functioning smoothly.
