My Setup:
I’ve been using Govee devices for their sleek design and reliability, especially their LED strips and smart plugs. Recently, I decided to integrate Fibaro switches into my system to enhance my lighting controls and add more automation features.
The Challenge:
Initially, I faced some hurdles with getting the Fibaro switches to communicate smoothly with my Govee devices. The Fibaro app kept showing a TRANSMIT_COMPLETE_NO_ACK error, which was frustrating. After some research and reaching out to the community, I discovered that a simple firmware update on the Fibaro devices resolved the issue. 
The Solution:
- Firmware Update: I updated the Fibaro switches to the latest firmware. This not only fixed the communication errors but also introduced some new features I hadn’t explored before.
- Scene Automation: I created a scene where my Govee LED strips change color based on the time of day, all controlled by the Fibaro switches. It’s been a game-changer for my morning routines!
- Energy Monitoring: I also set up energy monitoring using Govee’s smart plugs, which has helped me track my electricity usage more effectively.
