Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Govee smart lighting with other brands in my home. It’s been a fantastic journey, and I thought I’d walk through my process in case it helps someone else!
First, I started by setting up my Govee lights, which have been a game-changer for my home ambiance. Their color accuracy and brightness levels are incredible, and the app integration is seamless. But the real magic happened when I began connecting them with my existing ecosystem.
I use a mix of Zigbee and Z-Wave devices, and I was worried about compatibility. However, thanks to the open-source nature of my setup, I was able to bridge everything together using Home Assistant.
