Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Hive with SmartThings using Alyc100’s code. It’s been a fantastic journey, and I’m thrilled with how it all came together! 
I’ve always been a fan of having everything in one place, and now with Hive connected to SmartThings, I can control both my Hive devices and other SmartThings integrations through one app. The setup was a bit of a puzzle at first, but the community support and Alyc100’s code made it manageable.
One thing I found particularly useful was setting up a virtual switch for my Hot Water Boost. It’s given me more control, and I’ve added an extra precaution to ensure it turns off after the boost. The ability to create routines based on my home’s occupancy has been a game-changer. For instance, if the temperature drops close to the target, it triggers a short boost to maintain comfort without over-heating.
