Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with integrating my Homey Pro with a ZTE 4G mobile Wi-Fi unit. Initially, I faced some challenges, but after some troubleshooting, I managed to get everything working smoothly.
First, I tried connecting the Homey Pro directly to the ZTE unit using the SSID and password I knew were correct. However, the Homey unit kept stating that the password was wrong, which was frustrating because I was certain the credentials were accurate. After several attempts, I realized there might be an issue with the Wi-Fi configuration on the ZTE unit itself.
I decided to reset the ZTE unit to its factory settings and then set it up again, making sure to use a strong, simple password this time. Once the ZTE unit was reconfigured, I tried connecting the Homey Pro again, and this time it worked perfectly! It seems that the initial setup on the ZTE unit might have had some hidden configurations that were causing conflicts.
