I’ve been on a wonderful journey integrating various smart devices from different brands into my home ecosystem, and I’d love to share my experience while also picking your brains for tips!
Starting with my lighting setup, I’ve successfully paired Tradfri GU10 spots with Hue Mood Lighting to create some amazing ambiance effects. It took a bit of tinkering with flows in the Home app, especially figuring out the right triggers like doorbell presses or motion sensors, but the result is stunning! 
One challenge I faced was ensuring seamless communication between devices from brands like Insignia and GE. The Insignia Wi-Fi Smart Light Switch was a budget-friendly gem, but I had to work through some initial pairing quirks. The key was using the native Home app instead of the manufacturer’s app, which made integration much smoother.
