I wanted to share my recent success in connecting my Alro Base Station to HomeKit. I’ve been wanting to integrate this device into my smart home setup for a while now, and I’m thrilled to finally get it working smoothly!
After some research and a bit of trial and error, I discovered that resetting the base station was the key to making it compatible with HomeKit. I followed the steps outlined in a few forum posts, which involved locating the hidden reset button and holding it down for about 10 seconds. Once it was reset, I was able to pair it with my iPhone without any issues.
Now, I can control my security system directly from the Home app, which is such a convenient upgrade. It’s amazing how much more seamless my smart home experience feels with everything integrated!
