Successfully Integrating Nexa PER-1500 Power Plug with Homey

I’ve been on a quest to integrate my Nexa PER-1500 power plug into my Homey setup, and I’m thrilled to share my journey and success with the community! :tada:

The Challenge: Initially, I faced the same frustration as many others—my Nexa PER-1500 wasn’t showing up in the Nexa or KlikAanKlikUit apps, and I couldn’t find a straightforward way to connect it to Homey. After some research, I discovered that several users had managed to integrate their PER-1500 with Homey, but the exact method wasn’t clear to me.

The Journey: I started by exploring the conversion list between Nexa and KlikAanKlikUit, hoping to find a match for my device. After some trial and error, I stumbled upon a helpful guide that mentioned using the Homey app’s manual addition feature. I cautiously followed the steps, ensuring that the device ID and protocol settings were correctly configured.

The Solution: The breakthrough came when I realized that Homey’s advanced settings allowed me to manually input the device details. By carefully entering the correct device ID and ensuring the 433 MHz protocol was enabled, my PER-1500 finally appeared in the Homey app! It was a moment of pure joy—my lights were now under smart control!

Lessons Learned: This experience taught me the importance of persistence and the value of community support. If you’re struggling with similar issues, don’t hesitate to reach out or share your own tips. Let’s keep the knowledge flowing! :bulb:

If anyone has additional insights or tips on integrating other Nexa devices, I’d love to hear from you! Happy automating! :rocket:
