Successfully Integrating Ring Sensors with Aeotec Stick Gen 5

I recently upgraded my home automation setup by adding the Aeotec Stick Gen 5 to my Raspberry Pi 3 running Home Assistant. The installation process was smooth, and the stick was detected without any issues. However, I encountered a problem when trying to integrate my Ring sensors with the new setup. Initially, the sensors weren’t being recognized, which was frustrating. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that the QR scanning feature wasn’t working properly in the Home Assistant app due to camera focus issues. To resolve this, I downloaded a separate QR scanning app to manually input the sensor codes into Home Assistant. While this workaround was successful, the sensors still didn’t appear as Z-Wave devices. After some research and reaching out to the community, I found that resetting the Aeotec Stick and ensuring all firmware updates were applied resolved the issue. Now, my Ring sensors are fully integrated, and everything works seamlessly. This experience taught me the importance of thorough troubleshooting and the value of community support in overcoming challenges. If anyone else is facing similar issues, I recommend checking firmware versions and reaching out to forums for advice. Happy automating! :rocket:
