Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent success in integrating Smartthings devices with my Harmony Hub. It was a bit of a puzzle at first, but I managed to figure it out! 
I’ve always loved how my Harmony Hub simplifies controlling my home theater, but I really wanted to expand its capabilities to include my Smartthings devices. After doing some research, I discovered that it’s possible to integrate Smartthings with Harmony through the Smartthings app. The key was setting up the integration correctly and ensuring that all devices were properly paired.
Here’s what I did:
- I made sure my Smartthings account was integrated with my Harmony Hub. This involved a few steps in the Harmony app, but the setup wizard made it pretty straightforward.
- Once the integration was complete, I created a custom activity sequence in the Harmony app that included both my traditional devices and my Smartthings devices. It took a bit of trial and error to get the timing right, but it worked out perfectly!
- I also found that using the Harmony app’s automation features allowed me to create even more seamless routines. For example, I can now have my lights dim and my TV turn on with a single button press.
This integration has really taken my smart home setup to the next level. I’m no longer juggling multiple apps to control everything—it’s all right there in the Harmony Hub. If anyone else is looking to do something similar, I highly recommend checking out the integration options in the Harmony app. It’s a game-changer!
