I’ve been trying to figure out how to pair my Leviton ZSS10-G0Z switch with SmartThings, and I wanted to share my success story in case anyone else is struggling with the same issue. Here’s what worked for me:

Initial Setup: I started by holding down the bottom (off) switch until the light flashed red. I let go, and it took about 10 seconds to enter pairing mode. The instructions I found elsewhere mentioned holding the button for 5 seconds, but that didn’t work for me.

Adding the Device: Next, I opened the SmartThings app and navigated to the “Things” menu. I clicked on “Add Device” and waited for the app to detect the switch. The red light on the switch was still flashing, so I knew it was in pairing mode.

Final Step: I held down the bottom (off) switch again for about 5 seconds while the red light was flashing. After a few moments, the light turned green, and the device showed up as detected in SmartThings. I was thrilled when it finally connected!
