Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Philips Hue system after encountering some connectivity issues. It all started after an update on my Ubiquity UDM router, which caused my Hue lights to constantly disconnect and reconnect. The Homey app was showing red alert icons, and tapping on a light would result in a response time error. Despite restarting the Hue bridge, Homey, and the network, the problem persisted.
After some research and troubleshooting, I discovered that adjusting the Wi-Fi mode on my router made a significant difference. Switching from a mixed mode to a more stable ‘g’ only mode on the 2.4GHz band resolved the issue. Now, all my Hue lights are connected and functioning smoothly, which has been a huge relief.
