Successfully Setting Up Rope Lights and Mirror Me Workaround

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a couple of exciting updates from my recent smart home projects. First off, I finally got around to setting up my 16.4-foot rope lights, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how they turned out! I decided to wrap them around my front door, creating a stunning visual effect that really brightens up the space. It took a bit of trial and error, but the end result is worth every minute of effort. Plus, it adds a fun pirate-themed touch to my home—definitely a hit during the evenings!

Another thing I wanted to mention is how I managed to work around a problem I was having with my Z-Wave switches. I recently switched from Vera Plus to Hubitat, and I was struggling with associating my GE Z-Wave Plus switches. After some research, I stumbled upon the Mirror Me app, which turned out to be a lifesaver! Not only did it solve the association issue, but it also allowed me to control the dimming of both circuits simultaneously—a feature I couldn’t achieve through the traditional association method. It’s been a game-changer for my lighting setup!

I also wanted to take a moment to thank everyone in this community for their incredible support and shared knowledge. It’s amazing how much we can accomplish together, and I’m grateful to be part of such a helpful and innovative group. If anyone has any questions or needs advice, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to help!

Looking forward to seeing more of your awesome projects and tips! Keep shining bright, everyone! :star2:
