Initially, I was facing an issue where the rain meter wasn’t visible in the ‘draadloze weersensoren’ app, even though other sensors like the wind meter and thermometers were working fine. This was quite frustrating, but I decided to tackle the problem step by step.
First, I checked the placement of my Homey device, ensuring it was as close as possible to the rain meter. I also replaced the batteries in the rain meter to rule out any power issues. When that didn’t solve the problem, I decided to test with a new rain meter. I placed it near the Homey and let it sit for half a day, hoping it would be detected automatically. Unfortunately, it still didn’t show up in the app.
After some research, I discovered that the Homewizard could detect the meters, which gave me a clue that the issue might be specific to the app. I reached out to the community and found that others had similar experiences, which was reassuring.
