Summer evenings are always a great time to enjoy the backyard, and this year I decided to fully embrace smart home automation to enhance the experience.
Earlier this week, I was showing my wife the new LED lights I installed for the 4th of July celebrations. The lights are connected to my smart hub and can be controlled via voice commands or the mobile app. It’s amazing how much easier it is to set up custom scenes now compared to just a few years ago. I even created a special patriotic lighting sequence that changes colors in sync with the music!
One feature I’ve been particularly impressed with is the ability to schedule lights based on sunset times. It’s incredibly convenient—no more fumbling with timers or switches. Plus, the energy-saving modes have made a noticeable difference in our electricity bill.
I’d love to hear from others who have implemented similar lighting automation setups. What are your favorite features or hacks for outdoor lighting? Let’s share and inspire each other!
