So far I have used the sensor as a side swing door sensor. My hope is that it will be able to detect garage position on my roller garage door. So as a state of 0-100%

You tried P100?
I don’t think that’s possible 0-100! Just open and close … too difficult to read each position in my opinion with just one sensor

Hello, if you can place the sensor so that it rotates, you can recognize three positions: “vertical face down”, “horizontal”, “vertical face up”.
Such statistics will be issued by the P100 sensor in monitoring mode.
