Hi All,
Not sure whether this one has been posted before or not but I have Aqara D1 switch that are not discoverable even after I reset it.
So, here’s the full scenario:
- I have several Aqara D1 (No Neutral, CN Version) binded to Aqara G3 (CN Version)
- I bought another hub E1 (Global Version), to bind it to Aqara U100
- Out of my curiosity, I’m testing to bind one of my D1 to E1 Hub, (long press button) as it turns out the D1 is connected properly to E1 (even they were on different region), but it’s disappeared from my G3 (as expected)
- However, when I try to reset the D1, to re-bind it to my G3 (as my automation mostly working on G3), by resenting the device, the D1 is no longer discoverable.
- When I try to reset the second time, the D1 disappear from my E1. with the same problem (not discoverable)
- So now the D1 is disconnected from both of my Hub.
so, the question is:
- is there anyway on how to re-bind the device to either of the hub?
- My assumption is that the hub still thinks the D1 has already binded (hence not discoverable), so how to force remove an offline device?
- Is there any way to hard reset, other than long press the button?
to add context:
- I’m not removing the accessory properly (thought there are no prerequisite when resetting the device)
- I have a device group with that problematic D1, but now it is offline and I cannot remove the device saying that ‘I dont have permission’
Sorry if I post this on the wrong category, I’m new to the forum
