I have a ceiling fan with an integrated light, and both functions are controlled by a remote.
I want to automate it, and for that I need the light to work via a switch, and the fan to be controlled by an IR remote using a smart button.
The problem is that I cannot access the fan’s wiring, and I have 3 switched outlets. How would you approach this?

Hello. From your story, it is impossible to understand how the fan and lamp are powered. Give more information, perhaps take a photo or an extended description. Is there an external switch for the lamp? Is there an IR remote control for the fan?

if you have an aqara hub with IR (m3,m2,g3) and a smart switch (can be wireless) this can be automated through automation. Using IR hubs, add 2 remotes to aqara home and by pressing the buttons on the wireless switch it could be on/off (you need to create automation)
