Hey everyone! I wanted to share an exciting discovery I made recently with the Sylvania Smart+ Bluetooth devices. I came across these two devices—a Smart+ Bluetooth A19 RGBW bulb and a Smart+ Bluetooth wall plug—and was initially skeptical about their compatibility with Home Assistant. After all, I’d heard mixed reviews and wasn’t sure if they’d integrate seamlessly. But I decided to give them a try, and I’m thrilled to report that they work beautifully!I started by using the Sylvania Ledvance Bluetooth app to set up the devices, following the instructions to pair them with my Alexa. Once they were paired, I opened the Alexa app and let it discover the devices. To my delight, they appeared as entities in the Alexa Media Player integration in Home Assistant without any additional setup! It was almost too easy.Now, I have full RGBW control over the bulb, and the wall plug works perfectly for controlling my devices. It’s amazing how these devices just worked out of the box with Home Assistant. I’m especially impressed with the smooth integration and the fact that I didn’t need any extra configuration or third-party integrations.If anyone else is curious about these devices, I’d recommend giving them a shot. They’re a great way to add some smart functionality to your home without breaking the bank.
