T1 Water Leak Sensor and Wireless Mini Switch vs original versions

I have many of the original Wireless Mini Switches and Water Leak Sensors. Sometimes, they lose connection to the Hub M100 and struggle to reestablish their connections.

Might the T1 versions of these devices offer any benefits to address this issue?

@michael20 It’s great that you’re considering the T1 versions of the Wireless Mini Switches and Water Leak Sensors to improve your smart home setup! The T1 models, particularly the Water Leak Sensor T1, communicate with the Aqara Hub using Zigbee protocol. Zigbee is known for its ultra-low power consumption, safer communication, and ability to accommodate more accessories through its ad hoc network capabilities. These advantages might help in establishing a more stable connection compared to previous versions.

If connection issues persist, consider these potential reasons from our FAQ: the accessory might be too far from the hub, low or dead battery, or signal interference from metal surfaces. Moving the accessory closer to the hub or replacing the battery could significantly improve connectivity.
