Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered a similar issue with their Tado system. I recently installed a Tado thermostat on my Green Star 36CDI compact boiler, and it’s been a bit of a puzzle trying to get everything working smoothly. Here’s the situation:
After setting up the Tado via the bus connection, I noticed that the flow temperature never exceeds 55 degrees, even when I’ve set the boiler to its maximum setting. The Tado app suggests adjusting the max flow temperature at the boiler, which I’ve done, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. It’s as if the Tado is requesting a lower temperature than what I’ve configured.
I’m curious to understand how the Tado determines the flow temperature it requests. Is there a setting I might be missing, or could there be a communication issue between the Tado and the boiler? I’ve done some research, but I haven’t found a clear answer yet.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of behavior with their Tado setup? I’d love to hear if there’s a solution or workaround that others have found effective. Let’s see if we can crack this together! ![]()
