I use the Tasker app to write apps for my Android cell phone. I have apps that respond to device events. For example I currently have Wyze door contact sensors. When a door opens, closes my Tasker app receives the event and processes it.
Itv doesn’t seem to work consistently with the Aqara app and contact sensors. Sometimes ac door opens closes, I get the event. Sometimes it can take several seconds to get the event, sometimes not at all. It seems like I have keep the Aqara app open, but it still does not send events consistently. When I check the Aqara app itv indicates that the was indeed opened closed, but no event sent.
Am I missing something in the setup? The Wyze app works consistently with its devices.

Network Issues: For Zigbee devices, ensure the signal value is above 60. If it’s a WiFi device, the RSSI should be above -70 dBm. Adjusting the distance from the router may enhance performance.

App and Device Communication: Sometimes, restarting the device or re-entering the network can help reestablish the communication connection. This might be worth trying if the problem persists.

Thanks for the tips. Tried pretty much all of those. A strange thing is, I’ll open a door and, it happens a lot, my app will get the event several minute later. Also after the door opens, I might pick up my cell and then I start getting events.
And… When I check the Aqara app after I get the delayed event, the app shows that the event occurred when it did, but my app gets the event minutes later.
I find that of I reboot my cell, it seems to help.
